Virtual Art Exhibition Project

4/5/2015

Create a Prezi of your virtual exhibition. Due 20 April
1. Answer the questions for "Understanding Curating
2. Choose a theme: What are the connections for each piece you choose?
          Han- Loneliness
          Huy - Woman Portraits
          Jinhee-Dreams

3. Design the Exhibition - play with the relationships and sequencing of each piece.
4. Remember you are directing the viewer in the way you arrange your artwork...what do you want the viewer t see, feel, identify, or connect with the artworks?
4. Write a blurb for each piece. Make sure you have the correct artwork labels for each piece.
5. Give your exhibition an interesting and catchy title.
6. Write an introduction. Using several paragraphs, explain the concept behind the show, why you chose the works you did, the themes, the connections. and the different cultures/contexts the work comes from.
7. Create one studio piece yourself to add to your exhibition! This is a real piece though...not a virtual piece.
8. Present your virtual exhibition to the class!
