Summer Assignment Overview
- Summer Assignments are chosen to help you with your portfolio that will be sent in to the Advanced Placement Program of the College Board to be graded. Art is an ongoing process - it is critical to keep up artistic skills, because even the best can become rusty without practice. Therefore, your summer work is very important to your continued success in photography.
- Always backup your images on a flash drive, separate files for each Unit. Label format for files: “firstname-title-breathe (or) concentration.” Upload image to your Weebly with an APA formatted label under the corresponding page.
- Be familiar with your camera, and use Aperture and Shutter Speed to demonstrate the effects you want.
- Spend time on the AP Central site and the teacher’s website. Look at student work, become familiar with the parts of the portfolio, and read the scoring guidelines.
