What moral responsibility do the artists have?
Should artist avoid issues that might shock or go against the general population?
Answer in 3-4 sentences. There are no right or wrong answers. Be honest and share what you THINK.

Artists avoid issues that might shock or go against the general population. Because it may ruin their career as an artist. It can also changes people's view on the artist. So I think should respect others for his/her own sake.

Artists should do whatever they want, as art is a form of self-expression, thus if they were to suppress their true desires, it would be contradictory to their profession.

i think art or artist has moral responsibility because it represents a means of life or living, which is never devoid of moral responsibility, as long as it includes an understanding of self and other and the relations that tend toward happiness through consensus.

In my opinion the moral repsonsibility of artists is that they should avoid issues that may shock them because if there are issues that may shock them they can't focus for their work.

Artists have a lot of moral responsibility but I believe that sometimes art should create controversy or a motif, despite the opinions of society. I think in this day and age the general population is extremely sensitive and will always have a strong opinion on an issue no matter what it is, so why not go all out.

Artists do not have to follow general population. New kind of picture is a great opportunity to develop imagination and change society.

Artists have a lot of moral responsibilities. Everyone has their own opinions and they can judge the artist for being right/wrong but at the end what's important is the artist's own reasonings.
